<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
So bright and cheery....isn't it! So again seeing the Lulupu Challenge #26 i made this card using my new <strong>Classic Rose Die, Butterfly Stamp from Justrite </strong>and <strong>Adirondack inks.</strong></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So i started with a piece of <strong>Coconut white card </strong>and inked it three <strong>Adironadack inks-Citrus, Wild Raspberry and Purple Twilight. </strong>The Adironack Brights are more vibrant than the distress inks and that is why i decided to use them instead of the distress inks. I applied them to the card using a piece of <strong>Cut 'n' dry foam</strong> and just did dots of colour all over the cardstock. Once I was happy that i had saturated the card with lots of colour, I dried it well with my heat tool. This is a very important step so do make sure that it is very dry before proceeding. I even rubbed it with my anti-static pad to remove any hint of moisture that may have been left. Next i inked the<strong> Butterfly stamp from Justrite stamps </strong>using a <strong>clear Perfect Medium pad </strong>and stamped it thrice, making sure not to overlap them. I embossed them with <strong>white powder </strong>(this must be the first powder you used). Next is stamped the butterfly again in the same manner, but aimed for the open areas more. You can overstamp the white butterflies and this isn't a problem because this time, we are clear embossing it. If you do the clear embossing first, then the white powder will stick to it and ruin your piece. If the clear sticks on top of the white, it isn't an issue. You end up with a lovely texture look from the clear embossed butterflies, almost a ghost kinda image. I then decided to stop here as it was just too pretty. I adhered it to the thin mats of white and black. I made a flower using <strong>Classic Rose Die </strong>from my new die line and 'sugared' it with <strong>Iced snow. </strong>I seated it upon some <strong>white tulle </strong>and added <strong>black jute bow</strong>(i love bows). On <strong>vellum,</strong> i stamped my sentiment <strong>'Happy Birthday' from Justrite Vintage Rose set </strong>using a <strong>clear Perfect Medium pad </strong>and heat embossed it in white. I cut it into a strip whit a forked end and tucked the other end under my flower. To complete the card, I made a couple of stick pins using beads from my craft stash and did some matting with piercing using both black and white cardstock for balance. Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The rose is a <strong>Classic Rose Die</strong> from <strong>Creative Expressions. </strong> It is made by stacking the die cuts in decreasing order(from the bottom to the top). And then i curled the edges. I even die cut the leaves from the same die. Then i glittered the flower with <strong>Glitter Jewels Iced Snow </strong>from <strong>Creative Expressions.</strong> Below are a few pictures ofthe iced snow.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello bloggers! How are you all? So today i am back with a 'Sweet Card'. Hahaha.....Funny name...right?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here's how it looks.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjURTaUOXmpSI8bkUHRjoI-cq4c5gJOOnI9qmOUP0DtXINQ4b1DqMz2bjlb-C_fMoR2gE3UVp-_luMUmeE72qOx4H3Rb24O5JoVX39d5DUj-6mNtn2gGNGc5TCs2tCnnJNJieUzDs1HAbM/s1600/IMG_2353.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_823150="null" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjURTaUOXmpSI8bkUHRjoI-cq4c5gJOOnI9qmOUP0DtXINQ4b1DqMz2bjlb-C_fMoR2gE3UVp-_luMUmeE72qOx4H3Rb24O5JoVX39d5DUj-6mNtn2gGNGc5TCs2tCnnJNJieUzDs1HAbM/s1600/IMG_2353.JPG" height="259" ota="true" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
And according to the lulupu challenge in which we were to try something new. I used my new <strong>Tufted Background by Justrite Stamps </strong>and <strong>Distress markers.</strong></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
For making this card i started with the <strong>Tufted Background by Justrite Stamps </strong>and inked it with a <strong>clear Perfect Medium pad.</strong> I stamped it onto a <strong>blush card</strong> and heat embossed with <strong>white powder.</strong> Using the <strong>matching Labels Seven die,</strong> I cut an aperture out of the centre. I used <strong>Victorian Velvet</strong> to give a bit of shading to the edges and added mounting foam to the back. I stamped the <strong>Hydrangea label </strong>in <strong>Black Archival Ink </strong>on blush card and cut it out with the matching <strong>Vintage Labels Seven Die </strong>as well. I coloured the flowers using <strong>Victorian Velvet Distress Markers.</strong> and stamped my sentiment "You're so sweet" in the middle of the label. I matted the background with a thin black mat, which left recessed area for my label shape to be glued back into the centre. I cut some flowers using the <strong>Majestic Morning Stamps and die </strong>and layered several of the flowers to use as accents. I added them to the card in cluster with some foilage cut in white and added a <strong>black jute bow</strong>. I added some <strong>Iced Snow </strong>to the foilage leaves. I finished the card by adding <strong>3mm flat back pearls </strong>to the cross lines. The final touch was a pierced mat layer with blush and black layers before adding my fianl white mat. Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7 3/4" in size.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: white;">Hi all...So today I am back with a wonderful, super-duper easy card which anyone can make for any occassion!!</span><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
So here's my card for today.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcHuMa-MJ4Dl469TJV2cXzxva3ElRkbRMSIWxxUFwM1xHZmJiOMSWRtMpEFPUirWKAC7dRuYABCuDn6T22SeaPouzyOVtnU72H_MKuqIQz3de6RLQcJC0D6q-n_JMDZG2pXdRjQJFW6_Q/s1600/IMG_3180.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_250788="null" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcHuMa-MJ4Dl469TJV2cXzxva3ElRkbRMSIWxxUFwM1xHZmJiOMSWRtMpEFPUirWKAC7dRuYABCuDn6T22SeaPouzyOVtnU72H_MKuqIQz3de6RLQcJC0D6q-n_JMDZG2pXdRjQJFW6_Q/s1600/IMG_3180.JPG" dta="true" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
For this card you don't need any kind of die-cuts or stamps or embossing pastes or tool...Yup you heard right you don't need any of these things!<br />
<br />
What you require for making this card is-<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><h4>
Scraps of PP or Cardstock-</h4>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Most of us always have some scraps of papers lying around, so this is the best time to use those. And if you don't have scrap paper lying around, then you can also use magazines with designs and coloured papers in it.</div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><h4 style="text-align: left;">
Basic Stuff</h4>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Basic Stuff includes- pencil, eraser, ruler, exacto knife, self healing mat, a black marker or you can even use any type of coloured marked which you like.</div>
<ul>
<li><h4 style="text-align: left;">
Adhesive</h4>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I used foam adhesive and a glue stick.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And thats it so lets start making our card.....</div>
<ol>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
Cut your PP into strips of different sizes.</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
Glue them horizantally or vertically (whatever you like the most when arranged).</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
On another medium sized scrap paper, cut a shape(i have cut a rectangle and snipped off the edges) and write or stamp whatever sentiment you like (i prefered writing the sentiment).</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
Then from the left over scrap, cut out another shape according to the occassion you are making card for (i cut a heart) and color the shape if you like. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWH1_JBSjV0amg-ktD7nliG3QQJOycGo7-mPIU8sPQBLcbti7P6UdWMt-NU-MKzrOLWRdZW4hFWi3gLMKfC6DZdq75w8owU8AybCNIXWxONceEX2VAaWB-v_MHtp9tmVVAa9OHdpTMAzU/s1600/IMG_3181.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_250788="null" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWH1_JBSjV0amg-ktD7nliG3QQJOycGo7-mPIU8sPQBLcbti7P6UdWMt-NU-MKzrOLWRdZW4hFWi3gLMKfC6DZdq75w8owU8AybCNIXWxONceEX2VAaWB-v_MHtp9tmVVAa9OHdpTMAzU/s1600/IMG_3181.JPG" dta="true" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
</div>
</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Hii Crafters! How are you? So today i am back with a wonderful card!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So here its is.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtBKywKuHHUvihuypSF6wyxnMGuPq5_deEcAmCKufW6v_Hbu079exnE2l2kPjzU7XoJBvLPKuYTgN08BydkwjmVuPj1DxoE62LACs1Dz21wlPbx751EQ-xm4nOMs-_MiDN7y0ACZPmgjE/s1600/IMG_2977%5B1%5D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_455059="null" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtBKywKuHHUvihuypSF6wyxnMGuPq5_deEcAmCKufW6v_Hbu079exnE2l2kPjzU7XoJBvLPKuYTgN08BydkwjmVuPj1DxoE62LACs1Dz21wlPbx751EQ-xm4nOMs-_MiDN7y0ACZPmgjE/s1600/IMG_2977%5B1%5D.JPG" gua="true" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Keeping in mind the Lulupu Challenge, I made this card. It uses 3 ingredients-</div>
<ol>
<li><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Die Cuts</div>
</li>
<li><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Embellishments</div>
</li>
<li><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Patterned Paper</div>
</li>
</ol>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Here's how I made it.....</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
I started with the <strong>Lavish Corner Stamp </strong>and using the <strong>Picket Fence Distress Stain, </strong>I dabbed it all over my stamp and stamped it on a black cardstock. If you take any other colour card, it would look like a watercoloured background. I also left a little margin of black card around the stamp so it looks like it is mated. Then I cut it into three strips and mounted over a piece of white cardstock. </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Next I stampd my sentiment 'You are on my mind' from the <strong>What Defines Us </strong>stamp set and also used the pretty flourish under it. I cut it out with the <strong>Vintage Labels Six Die set</strong>. I cut a frame for it using two sizes in the <strong>Vintage Labels Five </strong>in red cardstock. I cut an inside frame for it using the next size down in the set and cutting it from black cardstock. I then mounted it over the sentiment using foam adhesive.</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
For the flowers i used tissue paper and topped each of them with a black pearl. Using black twine, I made a loop and glued them together make a bow knot. Then I took a cream cardstock which is embossed with mini flowers and using needles pierced holes in it and rubbed sandpaper on them, so as to secure them. </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
Then finally i adhered the full structure on my cream cardstock using my foam adhesive. </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: left;">
I am not so good at photography, but still managed to get a few close ups....</div>

Hii all...Welcome to Scraps and Stamps!! I am Sukanya, a 13 year old kiddo who likes to craft. I love making cards and i always look for new craft techniques. <br />
I read thousands of blogs and it all filled up my mind for having my very own blog. The blog which inspires me the most is <a href="http://lulupu.blogspot.in/" target="_blank">Lulupu-The Caft Lounge</a>. It is an awesome blog. She even organizes challenges and the prizes are totally cool.<br />
So moving on to my post....for today i created some quilled flowers and pasted them on one of my files.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGmp__ciZp18UTXmVV4eSnyoW38egLZVqbR0F1aOO60HLiQhMCuZXGrzWbHTeVDZdiqLf7b2SMOELS284vur_j5wMaeWFwFLaJ2D35mA4Bl_mPXtBJeNvH36ZnZqyaJRyxirj44XKh4hU/s1600/IMG_2518.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGmp__ciZp18UTXmVV4eSnyoW38egLZVqbR0F1aOO60HLiQhMCuZXGrzWbHTeVDZdiqLf7b2SMOELS284vur_j5wMaeWFwFLaJ2D35mA4Bl_mPXtBJeNvH36ZnZqyaJRyxirj44XKh4hU/s320/IMG_2518.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
